DUNSTABLE DOWNS

Just a 20 minute drive from The Woburn, Dunstable Downs offer spectacular views of rolling chalk grasslands and stand at the highest point in Bedfordshire. Because of their height, the Downs are used by gliders, kite fliers, hang gliders and paragliders. The Downs have a rich history with two knolls, one dating back to the Bronze age and the other to the Saxon era. An abundance of wildlife and plants add to the many reasons to visit this beautiful destination.
