Established in 1914, this 18 hole course of mature heathland and parkland offers naturally undulating terrain for a challenging experience for golfers of all standards. A 2.5 mile drive from The Woburn.
Woburn Golf Club
Located on the Woburn Estate, with the Dukes, Duchess and Marquess courses, Woburn was the first 54 Hole venue to have all three courses ranked in Golf Monthly Magazines top 100 Courses in the UK and Ireland. The Tavistock short game area was added in 2015 offering 90 yard holes for practising shot selections. One of the most prestigious golf courses in the country, it is a 5 minute drive from The Woburn hotel.
Dunstable Downs Golf Club
The course at Dunstable Downs Golf Club has been designed by five times Open Champion, James Braid, and provides a real challenge for golfers of all abilities. The 18 hole, par 70 course stretches over 6,273 yards. Thanks to the chalky subsoil, the course is playable for most of the year and is always dry with fast, true contoured greens. Sitting at the highest point in Bedfordshire, the course offers spectacular views across the surrounding countryside. Visitors are welcome Monday-Thursday any time with restricted tee-off times Friday-Sunday. A 10 mile drive from The Woburn.
3 Locks Golf Club
There are many natural water hazards that will test the nerves of all standards of golfer at The 3 Locks. The River Ouzel is in play on five holes and the Grand Union Canal runs alongside the course. Lakes, ponds and ditches have all been incorporated in the course design. Located just a couple of minutes away from The Three Locks, one of our Seafood Pubs, you can always pop in for a drink and one of their Seafood specials or their Pot Pie, to wind down after the match.
