Family Days Out

The Woburn is a great destination for a family break with loads of activities to take part in close by. An animal packed day awaits at Woburn Safari Park and for the super-adventurous, try out Go Ape, both of which are just a few miles away. Gulliver’s Land adventure park is ideal for the under 11s and on days when the weather isn’t so reliable Xscape Milton Keynes is an indoor centre filled with a range of activities from sky diving to skiing and gaming.

WOBURN SAFARI PARK

Just a 10 minute drive from The Woburn, take a road safari through the extensive parkland reserve where many endangered species such as lions, tigers and rhinos roam free. Keeper talks offer insight into wildlife habitats, and on-foot activities such as indoor soft play, outdoor high-rope trails and paddle boats will wear out even the most energetic children!

GO APE

Go Ape, located within the Safari Park, can be combined with Safari entry or simply the Go Ape experience. A 2-3 hour treetop adventure offers exhilarating zip wires, rope bridges and crossings and a free-fall Tarzan swing!

GULLIVER’S LAND CHILDREN’S ADVENTURE PARK

With more than 25 rides in 6 themed areas, a maze, mini-golf, plus indoor and outdoor play areas, Gulliver’s Land is a fun packed day out for the family. Especially suited for children up to the age of 11. Just a 15 minute drive from The Woburn.

BLETCHLEY PARK

Once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers, Bletchley Park is now a vibrant heritage attraction. Learn about the extraordinary men and women who played a pivotal role in WWII. The mansion, huts and museum provide an immersive, interactive experience for families. Just a 15 minute drive from The Woburn.

WOBURN LIDO

Just a 10 minute walk from the hotel, Woburn Lido is a 23 meter outdoor pool. Great for warm, sunny days, families can swim and splash around then cool off with an ice cream from the on-site kiosk.

FORMULA FAST INDOOR GO-KARTING

Just over 10 minutes drive from The Woburn is the multi-award winning indoor go-karting centre. It offers 500+ metres of super-wide track, a high-ceiling arena and plenty of technical corners. Family friendly sessions are offered for children aged 8 and over.

XSCAPE MILTON KEYNES

A go-to venue for a huge variety of family activities. The Snozone is the UK’s leading centre for indoor skiing and snowboarding on real snow. iFly is a vertical wind tunnel for trying out skydiving and freefalling. Gravity trampoline park has interconnecting wall-to-wall trampolines and themed climbing walls. A virtual reality gaming centre and CineWorld multiplex cinema are also on-site.
